Our Story
Streamline Building Enclosures was founded with a singular focus: to provide building owners, developers, architects, and contractors with the highest level of building envelope expertise available in the Pacific Northwest.
We believe that a well-designed and properly constructed building envelope is the single most important factor in a building's long-term performance. Water intrusion, air leakage, and thermal inefficiency are preventable — and our work is dedicated to preventing them.

Principal, Streamline Building Enclosures
Juan Aguirre is the founder and principal of Streamline Building Enclosures. With over 40 years of experience in building envelope consulting, he has provided design, construction phase, and forensic consulting services on hundreds of projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and other select locations nationwide.
Prior to founding Streamline, Juan held a senior position at a prominent regional and national building envelope consulting firm for over two decades, where he cultivated extensive expertise across diverse building types and envelope systems. Before that, he spent two decades in the waterproofing and roofing construction industry, complemented by experience at architectural design and document development firms. Juan is a member of IIBEC and is devoted to advancing education and professional development within the building enclosure industry.
Juan's passion for architecture and building envelope design — combined with a commitment to continuous professional growth — drives his ongoing success in the field. He advances building enclosure practices by embracing the challenges of innovative construction techniques, with a particular focus on integrating AI-supported design and delivering technical oversight through a streamlined, cost-effective approach to exterior building enclosures.
